im just playin around tryin STO atm i liked it dureing open beta but i havnt had much time to play it since it went live and my truck has been giveing me a bit of trouble lately but we just about got all the kinks worked out

I did open beta...liked it up to the point I got bored cause there's zero Klingon content outside pvp. I loves me pvp, but nothing but that to level on gets stale, fast (also no gear, ie quest gear, to be comparable with the feds is fucked too).
2-3 Months and the game should be playable

lol i agree thats why im just lvling my fed toon atm i want my cruiser and science ship i had a bad littile science ship dureing beta had it decked out with plasma torps and disrupter weaponry

So far im Lieut Commander 1, Engineering Class and just got my Constitution class Cruiser *James Kirk Enterprise*.

Im having a lot of fun with it and i have no desire to go Klingon. They are adding in the Klingon content such as exploration missions and more PVE as they are starting to realize this is what the community wants.

Anyone in game add jerek@jeyhu81, ill help ya with anything.

During the open beta, they had server downtimes every night around 7PST, is that still the case on the live servers?

Also, how many times has anyone beamed to a station/planet for a ground mission and still been their ship?

The latter bug was annoying, but the former was definitely a game killer for me, so if they've changed that, I'd probably pick this game up soon.

They did that so the testers could test, and the kids just there for a freeMMO would be in bed when they brought the servers back up.

Down times aren't like that anymore and the bug was fixed where you were still a ship when you did ground missions.
