| So, it doesn't look like this game is really gonna be around for very long. Three weeks in and the company is already adding incentive to play the game. 10 dollar price drop off the retail box, and now a free 90 day trial, as opposed to the previous 30 day trial.
Basically, if you're interested in playing this game, better do it now before it goes ass up. _________________  |

| Meh... Mailek got me a buddy key and I played a bit this weekend. I got a bit of lag but im not sure if its the actual game or if there is something my vid card doesnt like about the game. It seems ok, but considering this game actually started developement at the same time SWG was released, it really is a disappointment. I know it went through alot of incarnations, but it really is disappointing that this is the final result. That all being said, I actually considered subbing once the 5 day is up... To play the devil's advocate, while the game has been in development for a long time, it's only been in the hands of Cryptic for around 17 months. The other design team, Perpetual I think it was, essentially wasted 4 years of time and resources developing concepts.
That being said, the game is pretty much a failtrain. And with the lackluster attempts to get new people to join a month old dying game, I really don't see this lasting more than a year, if that._________________ |

Bah, Star Trek is nearly like Star Wars in the fact that even if it's crap, just because the name is on it will cause it to go on far beyond it's natural life. Just look at the television programs... Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Enterprise. While I enjoyed every single one of these shows, they all went on for longer than they really should have.
Don't get me started on the motion pictures...
All that needs to happen is to start the rumor that Gene Roddenburrys ghost took a shit on the game and it will go on perpetually..._________________  You don't tug on Superman's cape

| Can one of you please send a buddy key to ? It would be much appreciated. Im only 13, but I started watching TNG a few months ago, and now im a huge fan. I always record episodes of TNG,ENT,and VOY, and I have TMP recorded aswell(DVR). I also watch TOS episodes on youtube. Anyway, I hope one of you still has a buddy key to give me. If not, I still appreciate consideration. |

| Reyna, I'm pretty sure he found this site the way I did - Google search  I was bored and decided I wanted to try this game and to my dismay I found out they didn't have free trials, you have to get a buddy key from buyers of the special editions  |
