| Do you get the feeling Blizzard is saying "You've conquered World of Warcraft. Now, start all over and conquer it again"? I will admit that I will probably get Cataclysm at some point to check it out. _________________ |

In a way yeah....but they also ran out of bad guys to have epic raids for from "cannon" sources. So it does make sense that they bring back Deathwing, and have him destroy as much of the world as he could while "we" were off killing Arthas.
They haven't really touched the original "Vanilla" world in years, I mean they added a dungeon here or quest hub there, but as far as making it worth leveling a new toon through or whatever...not til now.
I brought up something to a couple guildies as far as how Blizzard chose what areas were taken over by what faction. So you have the 3 original BG's, warsong gulch, arathi basin, and alterac valley.....interestingly the zones those come out of have been redone, with the horde taking over ashenvale (wsg) that was mostly an alliance quest hub and the alliance taking over arathi highlands(ab) a predominate horde quest hub. So what if all those BG's that millions played, actually added up to an ultimate goal of seeing which side actually won the battle to gain control of a specific area....maybe Im looking too far into it, but it's interesting. The changes being made to the BG's has my interest as well.
Rated BG's, just like arena but for real pvp'ers. Get ranked and whatnot, but you are not limited to your battle group. When you queue you may end up in a different battle group altogether, as long as it's regional IE...North America, Europe, Korea...
I just hope I get a chance to enjoy it. Work schedule has me able to play about once or twice a week and I haven't done a raid in a month or so....after this gig, if this company puts me on the road then I won't be logging into a computer for 3-6 months_________________ |
